You’re Getting Baptized!
The primary purpose of getting baptized is obedience to Christ. The second reason is it’s a wonderful way to cubically testify that Jesus Christ has saved you. We have found that inviting people to your baptism is a great way to reach people who feel church isn’t for them. You likely have friends, coworkers, classmates, distant family members, neighbors, friends at the gym, etc., who care about you, but are not part of a church. Take advantage of this opportunity by inviting these people to this very special moment in your life. Many of them will want to come! Who knows, they may show up to support you, but then have an experience with God themselves.
Effective ways to invite people to this special moment in your life:
1. Physical invite cards. The next time you are at Essential pick up physical invite cards, fill in your baptism info and hand these to people.
3. Text your people! Pretty much everyone reads their texts. Consider using the below. Of course, fill in your details and make it your own.
2. Social Media post. Socials are a great way to communicate to a lot of people what God is doing in your life. Below is a suggested photo and text to use on your socials. Post as soon as you can to give the people who care about you time to plan ahead.
